Who we are
LamTech Solutions is a web design studio based in Johannesburg, South Africa. This policy applies to the website at lamtechsolutions.co.za and the services we provide through it.

What we collect and why
We only collect information you give us directly. We do not track you with cookies, analytics scripts, or advertising pixels.
Contact form
When you fill in the project brief form on our Contact page, we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), chosen package, and message. This information is sent to us via FormSubmit, a form-handling service that delivers it to our email inbox at sakhile@lamtechsolutions.co.za. FormSubmit does not store submissions long-term — it forwards them by email and deletes its copy.
We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and, if you proceed, to build your website.
Several buttons on this site open a WhatsApp conversation with us. When you send a message, your phone number and message content are handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under their own privacy policy. We do not control or store WhatsApp data beyond the normal chat on our phone.
Quote builder
The quote builder on the Contact page runs entirely in your browser. It does not send any data to us until you choose to open WhatsApp or submit the form.
Third-party services
This site uses the following services. None of them receive your personal information unless you actively submit the contact form or message us on WhatsApp:
- Netlify — hosts this website and runs the server function that authorises portfolio image uploads. Netlify logs visitor IP addresses and request URLs as part of standard web hosting. See Netlify's privacy policy.
- Google Fonts — serves the typefaces used on this site. Google may log your IP address when your browser requests font files. See Google's privacy policy.
- Supabase — stores and serves the portfolio project data shown on the Work page (project names, descriptions, URLs, and screenshot links). No visitor personal data is stored in Supabase.
- ImageKit — serves and optimises the portfolio screenshots. No visitor personal data is processed by ImageKit.
- FormSubmit — forwards contact form submissions to our email. See FormSubmit.
How long we keep your information
Contact form submissions arrive in our email inbox and are kept for as long as needed to respond and, if applicable, complete the project. We do not maintain a separate database of enquiries. Once a conversation is complete and no ongoing relationship exists, we delete the emails within 12 months.
We do not sell or share your information
Your personal information is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. We only share it with the services listed above, and only to the extent necessary to deliver this website and respond to your enquiry.
Your rights under POPIA
The Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) gives you the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access — you can ask us what personal information we hold about you.
- Correction — you can ask us to correct or update inaccurate information.
- Deletion — you can ask us to delete your personal information.
- Objection — you can object to us processing your personal information.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at sakhile@lamtechsolutions.co.za. We will respond within a reasonable time, and no later than required by law.
If you believe we have not handled your information properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page. Material changes will be noted with a new "last updated" date below.
